Strategi
- Roche GS FLX för analys av hela exoner eller amplikoner med adaptorer (Amplicon Kit från Roche)
- Illumina HiSeq 2000 för analys av hela transkript (cDNA) med referens
- ABI 3730 xl för mindre projekt med ett relativt lågt antal exoner resp. samples (dubbelsträngad sekvensering)

- Amplikoner genererade med Roche Amplicon Kit
Sekvensering
- Roche GS FLX (Titaniumprotokoll, Single Reads) med 15 x upp till 20 x täckning
- Sanger-sekvensering med ABI 3730 xl
- Illumina HiSeq 2000 Single Reads eller Mate Pair Reads med 30 x täckning
Bioinformatik
- Leverans av rådata (filtyper: fasta, qual, sff (GS FLX), resp. scarf (Illumina HiSeq 2000))
- De novo-assemblering (användning av vilka verktyg beror på projekt, filtyp: ace)
- Klustring (filtyp: ace, resp. xls för klustertabell)
- Bioinformatisk statistik
