Read length distribution
a) 1,293,269 reads from a GS FLX+ run of the parakeet genome. Mode read length is 793 bp.
b) 1,017,391 reads from a GS FLX+ run of Drosophila larva cDNA. Mode read length is 551 bp.
Note: Read length of cDNA is physically limited by the shorter size of the input sample.
