Travel to Konstanz (European Genome and Diagnostics Centre)

Travel by train to Constance

Trains are leaving from the Zurich Airport every hour. You might need to change trains in Weinfelden. www.sbb.ch

Trains are leaving from the Stuttgart main station every half hour. You need to change trains in Singen. www.db.de

 

Travel by car to Constance

Arriving at Zurich Airport (Kloten) and travelling to Constance by car

Zurich – Constance: 69 km – approx. 46 Minuten

 

Take Exit A51 (direction to A1/A4/E41 direction Wintertuhr , St Gallen) and follow the highway for about 35 km – please note that the Swiss highways are subject to toll. Take Exit “Winterthur-Ost” and follow highway no. A7 (direction Konstanz/Frauenfeld/Kreuzlingen) for another 34 km. Shortly before arriving Konstanz you will cross the Swiss border. Follow the signs towards Singen. You will automatically be directed onto the Reichenaustrasse. On an intersection where you will see a McDonalds on the right hand side turn left into the Rudolf-Diesel-Straße, then make a left turn into the Line-Eid-Strasse. Then turn right into the Turmstrasse. Near the end of the street you will see the company building on the right hand side. Welcome to GATC Biotech!

 

Arriving from Stuttgart and travelling to Constance by car

Approx. 173 km –1 hour, 45 minutes

Take Highway No. A81 towards Singen. After about 140km take Exit 40 (Kreuz Hegau) and drive towards Konstanz/Radolfzell. Shortly before arriving in Konstanz after approx. 20 minutes, follow the signs towards Switzerland. After passing the yellow sign of the city boundary turn right into the Rudolf-Diesel-Strasse on the second intersection with traffic lights (you’ll see a McDonalds on the left hand side), then turn left into the Line-Eid-Strasse. Then turn right into the Turmstrasse. Near the end of the street you will see the company building on the right hand side. Welcome to GATC Biotech!

Travel to Cologne (European Custom Sequencing Centre)

Travel by train to Cologne 

From Cologne main train station take the S-Bahn S 12, S 13 or RB 25 towards Hennef / Eitorf to the Trimbornstraße station (second stop). Take the Trimbornstraße exit, go right and turn immediately left at Gießener Straße. After about 200 meters turn right into Rolshover Straße, cross the underpass and turn left into the Gottfried-Hagen Road. Welcome to GATC Biotech!

 

Travel by car to Cologne

Coming from the south and north on the highway A3

 

Leave the A3 at exit 27 at interchange Köln-Ost and follow the signs to K-Zentrum/K-Deutz (A4). Continue on the B55a. Take the exit Köln-Deutz in the direction of Deutz/Odysseum. Stay on the Straße des 17. Juni and turn left at the next T-junction onto the Kalker Hauptstraße. After about 350 meters turn right onto the Rolshover Straße. After a railroad underpass, turn left at Gottfried-Hagen-Straße. Welcome to GATC Biotech!
