BLAST analyses (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool) are carried out after clustering or the de novo assembly for individual clusters or contigs. The result is a list of all those sequences which exhibit similarities with the starting sequence. We use various databases, depending on the objectives, e.g. GenBank, GenPep or customer-specific databases. The BLAST analysis is supplied in tabular form in the xls and txt file format.
