We have been a convinced sales and development partner of DNASTAR Inc. since 1996. Lasergene is still the only sequence analysis software available for Windows® and Macintosh. Today, Lasergene also processes data from the Next-Gen sequencing systems, of course.

There are also new, innovative DNASTAR software tools which are, of course, compatible with each other: DNASTAR's SeqMan NGen can assemble Next Gen sequence data from Illumina and Roche  and also data of conventional Sanger sequencers with each other on a desktop computer. An interface to SeqMan Pro in the Lasergene suite allows visualization and further analysis. Data files from SeqMan NGen can be imported into SeqMan Pro in order to display dual-end sequence data, for example. The user can edit bases, view quality scores and also detect and filter SNPs.
